Hello and welcome to Gillett Excavating, let me tell you a little about myself and my company. My name is Matthew Gillett, I created Gillett Excavating from knowledge, hard work, and passion.
I have been in the equipment operating scene for practically all my life, being raised in a family business, I was able to participate in business activities from a very young age. I have been operating heavy equipment before I could even reach the pedals of an excavator, I believe this sparked the interest to shape the land we live on every day. My mother and father, Debbie and John Gillett, owners of Seedguy Hydroseeding, always pushed me to do my best and excel in anything I do. During my time with my parents I had the pleasure to experience many different areas, such as land clearing, drainage systems, hardscape projects (Rock walls, retaining walls, ect), and much more. After many years with Seedguy decided to take my training to a higher level and joined our local underground union and received certified equipment training. During my years of underground, I have been able to perfect my skills and diversify my interest and skills.
Wanting to provide my skills and visions for customers I decided to become my own boss and open an excavation company, Gillett Excavating, LLC. Since my opening we have made many contacts to provide the best quality materials, highest productive machinery, and a very competitive cost. I believe that hard work and dedication not only builds a successful business, but creates relationships with customers, that's why 95% of our customers don't just use us for one project, they call back for their future project needs.
